Dog Training Classes

Beginning Skills for Puppies and Dogs 19 Weeks & Older
Life With Dog 101
If you have a puppy over 18 weeks, you’ve never taken your dog to a class before, or if you just want a refresher, this is the class for you. We will address all the basic commands, manners, distraction training, and provide guidance for any challenging doggie habits you may be dealing with at home.
Learning Is Fun at Any Age
A newly adopted dog is exciting no matter what age he or she is. An adolescent dog can be a joy, but let’s face it: there are moments when you’ll wonder what to do with your young dog’s boundless energy. Whether you’ve just adopted your dog, or perhaps haven’t started training your pup yet, our award winning instructors will support you through any difficulties and inspire you with success!
In Dog 1 You'll Learn:
Basic Obedience – sit, down, stay, come, leash skills
Manners – jumping, don’t touch, drop it, calm down
Distraction Skills – dog begins to learn how to focus and work in a group setting
All Things Dog – common behavior problems are discussed every class
To practice at home with detailed homework and training handouts provided after each class.
Requirements:
Current vaccinations Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo.
We recommend vaccination against Canine Flu for all dogs: Canine Influenza Virus H3N2/H3N8. Please consult your veterinarian.
Dog must be friendly with dogs and people.
If you are concerned about your dog’s behavior around other dogs and/or people, we strongly recommend that your dog receive a professional evaluation with a BravoPup trainer prior to enrollment. This will help us determine if a group class is the best environment for you and your dog to begin training together.
Dog must not be reactive to other dogs on leash.
Even if your dog is friendly while OFF leash, on leash reactivity is not appropriate for a group class setting.
Please review our refund policy prior to registration.
